How Does the Process Work?
1. Preparation of pellets or granules – active ingredients are applied to carriers and coated with layers for
stability and controlled release.
2. Addition of the oil phase – granules are combined with a selected oil or mixture of oils.
3. Capsule filling – the mixture of granules and oil is precisely dosed into capsules (HPMC).
4. Sealing and control – capsules are sealed, visually inspected, and laboratory
tested for homogeneity and mass.
The entire process is carried out according to HACCP standards and under constant quality control.

What are Pellets or Granules?
Granules are microscopic spheres (0.3–1.5 mm) formed by granulating or layering active substances onto carriers (e.g., microcrystalline cellulose).
Each granule is an independent unit with a specific content of active ingredient and a protective layer.
When inserted into a capsule, they work together as a multi-stage release system.
Advantages of the Combined Technology
1. Double protection of active ingredients
The pellets are first coated with semi-permeable layers that protect them from oxidation and moisture. Then, they are further surrounded by oil, which prevents contact with oxygen and further stabilizes sensitive active ingredients such as probiotics, enzymes, or plant extracts.
2. Improved absorption
The oil matrix improves the passage of fat-soluble active ingredients (e.g., vitamin D, curcumin, coenzyme Q10) through cell membranes, while allowing slow and even release of active ingredients from the pellets.
3. Multi-stage release
Because the pellets dissolve or release with a delay in the oil, we can create time-separated action in one capsule – some active ingredients are released immediately, others later. This increases the effectiveness of the product and reduces the need for multiple doses.
4. Combining different types of ingredients
In one capsule, we can combine:
• fat-soluble ingredients (in oil),
• water-soluble or sensitive ingredients (in pellets).
This allows us to achieve a perfect synergy of two worlds that would otherwise be incompatible in one formulation.
